Project Overview

The organisational development toolkit is a planning tool used to review a organisations current capability and plan for their future. The toolkit is intended to help drive and maintain continuous improvement, efficiency and ongoing operational resilience within the organisation.  There are three tools within the toolkit each have their own purpose:

  • Tool A – Strategic Review 
    Review your organisation’s strategic vision and service delivery focus and identify key weaknesses, strengths and future opportunities.
  • Tool B – Strategic Capability Assessment
    Assess the suitability of your organisation’s business model to meet the challenges of today and of the future.
  • Tool C – Capability Development Plan
    Develop an action plan (based on the information gathered in Tool B) to strengthen your organisation’s operations and services.

Our Role

Ecobalance was engaged to undertake an organisational health assessment (OHA) consisting of: a number of on-site workshops with key organisational personnel and the development of the OHA report.

  • To create partnerships with industry that promotes capacity building initiatives and empowerment for Aboriginal people.
  • To review and implement actions from Dorodong’s NRM plan.
  • To promote initiatives which improve communication within the Dorodong membership.
  • To continue and build upon new and existing relationships with funding organisations.
  • To seek out sustainable enterprise opportunities.
